67th
Avenue Improvements - 67th Avenue Improvements have begun and work is currently
taking place to install the
storm drain, which runs from 66" to 48" in diameter, from just north of Peoria
to just north of Thunderbird. This storm drain is being installed in the
center of 67th Avenue, beginning just north of Peoria Avenue and heading north
to Thunderbird Road. As the contractor completes installation, they will
backfill and pave so that the operation moves in a northerly direction.
Traffic restrictions right near the construction activity will reduce traffic
to one lane in each direction, in the curb lane, and left turns will be
restricted. |

67th Avenue and
Maryland -
Work is taking place between
Maryland and Ocotillo on the west side of 67th Avenue to replace irrigation
pipe. This will require a closure of Maryland Avenue on the west side of
67th Avenue for 3-4 days while this work is being done near that intersection. |
 |
67th Avenue between
Pasadena and Missouri - Work is taking place on the east side of 67th
Avenue between Pasadena and Missouri while crews remove curb corners in this
area and replace the corners with ADA (American Disabilities Act) approved
corners. In addition, the frontage road median island will have the
middle section removed to prepare the median island for future landscape
improvements. |
